If you’re new to the IT industry, this course will help you put your best foot forward. Computers are used as tools in every part of society together with the Internet. Computers nowadays are complex; there are a lot of different components inside them, and they all serve different purposes. They all need to work together for the computer to work; knowing how a computer works makes it easier to use a computer by being able to understand how a computer will respond.
In this course students will learn to assemble/setup and upgrade personal computer systems; diagnose and isolate faulty components; optimize system performance; and install/connect peripherals. Hands-on labs will help students develop critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills. This course emphasizes the practical application of skills and procedures needed for hardware and software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting systems. In the software section, we will cover installing and configuring operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, Apple OS X and Linux.
To get the most out of the CompTIA A+ Certification training program and prepare for your exam, you will gain experience with basic computer user skills, be able to complete tasks in a Microsoft® Windows® environment, you will be able to search for, browse, and access information on the Internet, and have basic knowledge of computing concepts.
